FACULTY
| The
faculty of the American School consists of subject-matter
experts trained at some of the best universities in the
United States and India. All teachers employed by the American
School must meet the rigorous academic standards employed
by top universities in the United States. |
Research
and Creativity:
The method adopted in teaching the students is totally different
from the traditional schools. Here the student is prompted to
use his Creativity and Research. To help the students in using
their personal abilities there will be teachers, experts in their
own subjects to guide them. In short there is a total departure
from spoon feeding.
Sense
of Responsibility:
It is important
to inculcate the sense of responsibility in a child right from
the tender age of school education. This is a part of our system.
Every Saturday the student has to make a presentation of his work/achievement
during the week. This is besides the interaction he has daily
with International faculty through internet and video conferencing.
Personality
Development:
The system
also has an inbuilt provision to identify the weaker areas of
the child’s personality. Once having done that there are
experts to convert his weaknesses into strengths through professional,
psychological approach. To cite a few areas, usually a child is
afraid to interact with strangers, with elders and many a times
with girls and boys of his own age. Freedom of thought and speech
is curbed in many cases because of various constraints.
As
such our focus is to develop the child’s personality in
such a way that he is able to compete in today’s society,
truly speaking in a global atmosphere. This will be the right
opening for your child to face challenges crossing all Geographical
and Cultural barriers.
What
you gain
Exposure to foreign school culture while staying with ones own
family, opens up great vistas of vision and experience.“New
men, strange faces, other minds” brought to your door steps
by ASIC…. a strong foundation for a great edifice..... the
future of your child. The 21st century concept of education.
